A construction truck passenger became angry when he discovered an error in his order at a Binghamton-area Dunkin’ Donuts store.
The angry man exited the vehicle at the business near the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City and began banging on the drive-thru window shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Village police say the irate customer tried to open the window. No injuries were reported.
A Dunkin’ Donuts employee said the man was upset over an error involving a $3.55 bagel.
The truck – bearing the name and phone number of a Broome County construction company – was driven by a woman.
The employee said the enraged man was screaming and swearing during the dispute, which happened as several other vehicles waited in the drive-thru lane.
The truck with the disgruntled customer finally left.
The store clerk said the window mechanism needed attention after the incident.
