Bread Financial Launches Amex Cashback Credit Card

Financial services company Bread Financial spear the American Express Bread Cashback Credit Card on Wednesday, April 13, which offers consumers 2% unlimited cash back with no annual fees, no reward caps, no foreign transaction fees and no categories to manage.

According to a company press release, holders of the American Express Bread Cashback credit card will also have access to premium offers and benefits from American Express.

“When we changed our name to Bread Financial in March, we promised our customers that we would focus on delivering the innovative payment, lending and savings solutions they need at every stage of their financial journey” , said the executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Bread Financial. Officer Val Greer said in the press release.

“New American Express Bread Cashback Credit Card Offers Cardholders Unlimited 2% Cash Back, No Annual or Foreign Transaction Fees, Access to Dining, Travel and Entertainment Deals, and Protections purchase, identity and travel information,” Greer continued. “This unique combination of premium benefits and value was designed to meet the needs of today’s consumers who demand more choice and access.”

The American Express Bread Cashback Credit Card also includes member access to merchant, dining, and entertainment offers and discounts.

“We are thrilled to partner with Bread Financial to bring their customers a new, premier cashback product backed by the American Express network with compelling value, rewards and service,” said Does Stredwicksenior vice president and general manager, global network services, American Express.

“This partnership expands and expands the support of the American Express network to more people, delivering the important card protections, offers and access they expect from American Express,” he said.

Last month, Bread Financial launched a co-branded credit card program with specialty intimate apparel retailer Victoria’s Secret through Mastercard.

The Victoria’s Secret Mastercard, which uses tap-to-pay technology, is compatible with all digital wallets and offers anti-fraud security and rewards for cardholders at Victoria’s Secret stores and other retailers.
