Gruppo Cimbali will be making an appearance with its Faema and Slayer brands, showcasing its latest and greatest professional espresso machines at the Specialty Coffee Expo in Boston from April 8-10.
Faema will present for the first time in the United States its latest creation designed for the domestic sector and small businesses: Faemina. As it has yet to be officially launched in the US market, Expo attendees will get a special first look at the machine before its official launch. The renowned brand’s focus on professional-grade machines translates perfectly to the new model, allowing consumers to enjoy a café-style experience in the comfort of their own home. Its ergonomic features and easy-to-use interface are designed to open doors for coffee lovers and enthusiasts alike. Faemina’s system is easily customizable and can be adjusted remotely, allowing users to adjust water temperature, pressure and extraction times, ensuring a perfect cup of coffee every time according to users’ preferences.
The machine will be accompanied by the new Faema Touch and Match home/prosumer grinder: an extremely quiet grinder with an easy-to-use touch screen and manual grind adjustment.
Faema’s range will further include their President, a revival of the classic ’60s machine that takes on the style and design of the original, while incorporating modern innovative elements like Faema’s patented Smart Boiler and Perfect Grind system. . Their President GTI is a professional espresso machine with many customization options and total thermal stability thanks to its independent boilers. Its unique and high-tech design gives each space a strong identity that stands out among the crowd.
Their E71E model, on the other hand, steps up the coffee extraction game: its independent groups can handle different varieties of coffee and respect their specific temperatures, while the advanced GTi control system ensures the perfect balance between stability heat and coffee brewing times – all to bring out the best in everyone’s unique flavor profiles.
The Faema E71E will also be the official machine of the Coffee in Good Spirits 2022 competition, of which Faema is the sponsor.
Among the latest super-automatic machines, Faema will present its X20 Fresh Brew, an ideal solution for small businesses and the hospitality industry. With a brewing capacity of approximately 200 large cups per day, customers can experience a wide range of coffee and non-coffee beverages on one user-friendly machine. Never sacrificing quality, customers in these industries can always enjoy high-quality coffee at the touch of a button.
LaCimbali’s M200, one of the new SCA-certified products, will be previewed at Expo. A machine that carries elegance in its structure is not only beautiful but very functional: a series of ergonomic choices have been made to help save precious seconds on the service of a barista which, in the end, makes all the difference . The capabilities of the M200 expand to an international audience with the addition of an automatic brewing system, allowing filtered coffee to be prepared using a precisely programmed function that perfectly mimics the manual techniques required for dedicated filtered coffee machines.

To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Gruppo Cimbali, the Gruppo Cimbali Coffee Machine Museum (MUMAC) will present the post-war Faema Marte (Mars) in the United States for the first time. Part of a line of lever machines named after the cosmos, this historic machine features futuristic lines with gold and steel accents, and the slogan “Hydro-compressed Coffee Infusion” engraved on plexiglass. At the end of the event, the machine will be on display at the Dell’Aria Italian Coffee Roaster & Espresso Shop in New York. Viewers will also be able to leaf through MUMAC’s new iconographic book “SENSO ESPRESSO. Coffee. Style. Emotions”, which tells a journey through the Italian entrepreneurial and cultural fields, centered around professional coffee machines that embody the “Italian way of life”. They are ambassadors representing key values such as pleasure, beauty, creativity, intelligence and sociability, all from a simple cup of coffee. The book will be available for sale at the SCA Bookstore.
