Japanese clothing giant UNIQLO adds coffee to its product line. The brand has just opened its own cafe in its 12-story flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo.
The boutique, which opened to the public on September 17 following a 10th anniversary renovation, includes a variety of experiences and services for customers. In addition to a series of LifeWear installations, the space offers UNIQLO Coffee on the 12th floor for shopping breaks.
The café features the special UNIQLO coffee blend, paired with cookies from the confectionery brand Ginza West. You can relax in this space filled with sofas while enjoying a view of the streets of Tokyo through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Like the brand’s clothing, the coffee is offered at a reasonable price. A cup of Joe will set you back 200 yen (around $ 2) and the premium Geisha drip coffee is priced at 450 yen (around $ 4).
In addition to the UNIQLO Café, the flagship store offers consultation and customization services for homewear, costumes and more. Customers who spend more than 10,000 JPY (approx. $ 91) will be offered a free cup of coffee until September 20.
